MANIFESTO LAUNCHES 'CLOSER THAN YOU THINK' CAMPAIGN FOR OREGON COAST AQUARIUM


[imagebrowser id=22] This week Manifesto unveils Closer Than You Think, a fresh summer campaign for Oregon Coast Aquarium.  The goal of this summer's campaign is to highlight the world-class facility as a must-see destination for summer travelers.

Oregonians are lucky to have an aquarium in their backyard that is consistently ranked in the top 10 Aquariums in the United States. The Closer Than You Think campaign's goal was to reinforce the close proximity of the Oregon Coast Aquarium and highlight the close encounters that visitors can experience this summer including sea lion kisses, octopus encounters, snorkeling among fish, or being surrounded by circling sharks in Passages of the Deep.

Manifesto enlisted the award-winning photographer Holly Andres to shoot the campaign that focused on bringing well known coastal animals into domestic settings to reinforce the message of Closer Thank You Think.  Andres, best known for her fine art and commercial photography with the New York Times and Oregon Cultural Trust, infused the three campaign images with her vintage flare and theatrical compositions, presenting a whole new side to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

As a fully integrated campaign, Closer Than You Think will extend to out of home, digital, print, radio, and grassroots event activations at 20 Portland metro area community events this summer.
