MANIFESTO LAUNCHES INTEL’S 50th ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN
14 SEPTEMBER 2018
The Intel brand has had a tremendous effect on our lives. From chipsets that powered moon missions to dazzling drone displays for the most recent Olympics opening ceremony, it’s hard to express the impact Intel technology has had since the company was founded in 1968. So when Intel tasked us with bringing their 50th anniversary to life, we immediately envisioned the wonder, breakthroughs and pure moments of awe that Intel has inspired over the past 50 years.
50 Years of Wonder shows us the power technology has not only on the world, but also on the people who make it happen. Though Intel traces its roots back to three founders, one of whom carries the name of a famous scientific principle, its success is in the collective heart and passion of thousands of individuals - a powerful catalyst the likes of which this world has never seen. We focused on these individual stories of technological achievement, set on a backdrop of the past, present and future.
Mirroring Intel’s iconic logo, we connected the past and present through a set of 15 visuals featuring some of the biggest breakthrough moments in Intel’s history. The tagline, ‘Do Wonderful’ encourages employees to stop and celebrate the enormous achievements they have contributed to and is inspired by founder Robert Noyce’s famous line, “Don’t be encumbered by history. Go off and do something wonderful.” The July 18th celebration included global campus takeovers, printed assets, events and presentations, celebrating all of the wonderful accomplishments Intel has achieved over the past 50 years, and tipping our glasses to the next 50 years of wonder.
