MANIFESTO & GE HEALTHCARE WIN GOLD IN 40TH ANNUAL TELLY AWARDS
31 MAY 2019
Manifesto Agency announced today its content piece, Vision 2030, developed in partnership with GE Healthcare’s Imaging and Global Design teams in partnership with Skies Fall, was honored to win Gold at The 40th Annual Telly Awards.
Winning a total of nine Telly Awards across a range of categories including Gold for Craft/Cinematography and Silver in Writing/Storytelling, the piece was designed to showcase how future technology could dramatically transform the patient experience when facing the potential of breast cancer. Imagining a near-future reality at the intersection of AI, non-invasive healthcare technologies and the human experience, the piece targeted radiologists and industry innovators to help envision a healthcare system with less patient anxiety, greater personalization and more predictable outcomes.
“At its heart, healthcare is a human-centered story,” said Tim Dyer, Chief Storyteller of Manifesto. “While this vision could have been executed with a clinical approach, we decided the best way to pursue it was a deeply-human story about a fictional character facing the potential of cancer. GE Healthcare’s role in that theoretical future is the purveyor of seamless technology that gives our character hope. We’re honored that our piece won Telly Award Gold and share the honor with our counterparts and collaborators at GE Healthcare. This accomplishment is truly a result of deep and collaborative partnership.”
The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, production companies and including Vice, Vimeo, Hearst Digital Media, BuzzFeed and A&E Networks.
