CHALLENGE

  

Based in Chiang Mai Thailand, Urban Light is a nonprofit focused on ending the exploitation of boys caught up in sex trafficking. With sex tourism a worldwide industry and Thailand drawing an international audience, Urban Light was seeking greater exposure in the United States around their efforts. To do this, they needed a new brand, website and a better way articulation of their story.

  

INSIGHT

Boys Cannot Be Baht. It’s the jarring lead line for Urban Light. For these 4,000 boys they’ve helped to pull out of sexual exploitation, their once dark lives are now lit with a rising sun.

SOLUTION

Using this insight of hope, we developed a brand ID system and website storytelling platform that maintained the confidentiality of boys’ identities while telling their stories. From bold visuals to storytelling-focused infographics and arresting photography that transports visitors through an empathetic journey into the heart and soul of the brand, Urban Light’s brand, polish and story were now prepared to step onto the international stage.
